Trackday Star in a Race Car

If you sit watching Top Gear's Star in a Reasonably Priced Car on a Sunday night thinking "I can do better than that" - now is your chance. You can test your driving skills against the rest of the drivers in the UK and end the pub banter between friends on who is the best driver with How Fast!

However, you won't be using a "reasonably priced car" - you'll be setting a lap time in one of our Clio Cup Race Cars as used on the PalmerSport corporate driving day! They may look related to something you might see at your local supermarket, but there the similarity ends. The How Fast Clio Cup cars are designed and built by the RenaultSport factory as pure racers from the day they were born.

They develop 'just' 205 bhp from their race-tuned two litre motors but when it's transferred to the road through a paddle shift gearbox, slick tyres and racing suspension, it adds up to an apex-to-apex pace you'd simply not credit from a humble tin-top hatchback. They are outrageously fun and relatively easy to drive!

Your experience begins with a one hour practice session where you will be able to hone your skills and receive advice from our qualified race instructors. This will comprimise of two 20 minute on track-instruction sessions with debriefing time in the pit-lane ensuring you're ready to set the best time possible.

After you have had time to practice, it's then down to you to cover the challenging 1.8 mile West circuit as fast as you can and set a time that will be displayed on the league table of the How Fast website for all to see. The cars are the same so there are no excuses - it's all about your driving skills!
